Christmas Eve Service
Since it is unlikely that we will have snow here for
Christmas, I have created my own. Inspired by a seasonal card a friend
received, I have fashioned this wonderful scene, not unlike that of my
childhood when we would don our winter gear, head for church, and celebrate
the birth of Christ with friend and family at the Anglican Church in Bridgetown.
The bells in the steeple would ring out good cheer and the atmosphere was
mystical. This painting entitled "Christmas Eve Service" is
5" x 10" and brings with it blessings to you and yours for a very merry
Christmas.

Caroling by Moonlight
This painting is for all of you who enjoy cool winter evenings and holiday celebrations. "Caroling by Moonlight" begs you to join this wintery scene. To sing carols, go skating, take a sleigh ride, or just set back, relax and dream. This painting is 9" x 12".
I will have this painting, along with many others, at the MacDonald Museum Christmas Craft Fair in Middleton on Friday, Nov. 23 ( 5 - 9) and Saturday, Nov. 24 (10 - 4). Hope to see you there.

A Busy October
As of today I have sold 97 paintings this year. I am hoping for 100 by the end of 2009. Perhaps I should add a meter to my blog that would provide an ongoing record of paintings sold to date. But given that it would take advanced technical ability, it is not likely to happen. It has been a busy month for sales with the Middleton Christmas Dreams show, the Annapolis Farmer's and Trader's Market, the Milford House and the website. I also sold three originals to passengers of the Balmoral, a cruise ship that docked in Digby on the 15th. Three paintings are on their way to jolly old England.
It is time to begin a collection of winter paintings for the upcoming Christmas shows. My most recent one, visible above, is called Caroling and is 9x12. I will be posting each paintings on this blog for you to view prior to putting it up for sale. Hope you enjoy them.
