Making Hay

While looking through some of my Uncle’s photos, I came across a picture of a group of people haying and decided to paint it. Although I am not one of the people in the painting, I can smell the hay and remember the feel of the stubble on my feet. Good memories! “Making Hay” is 5 “ x 10”.

Spring

May is winding down and June is on the horizon. Spring is well under way here in the valley with the flowers in full bloom. Animals are in the field after a long winter and the air is moist from days of rain. This painting, “Spring”, is 11” x 14”.

New Snow

It is so cold here today in Saint John that it made me think of snow. I enjoy winter so it isn’t much of a stretch for me. This painting, “New Snow”, depicts a fresh snowfall. Everyone is busy shoveling and getting on with everyday tasks. The animals must be fed and the day’s wood must be brought in. The kids are enjoying outdoor activities. “New Snow” is 11” x 14”.
