May is winding down and June is on the horizon. Spring is well under way here in the valley with the flowers in full bloom. Animals are in the field after a long winter and the air is moist from days of rain. This painting, “Spring”, is 11” x 14”.

I like how the edge of that bare hill in the lower right foreground (which NEEDS to be bare!) makes a "visual rhyme" with the road above/beyond it. Nice compositional device!
