One of my favorite things is to watch a pair of oxen as the trudge along, swaying from side to side. They make it look like they are in charge, but the teamster needs to remain in control. This painting entitled "Exercising the Oxen" is 11" x 14".

Heading Home
It has been a fabulous winter here this year for outdoor activities. Lots of snow and frozen ponds. With the cold temperatures, fires are using more wood. In this painting, dad is out in the woodpile, mom has clothes on the line (not uncommon around here) and the kids have been enjoying a day in the snow. "Heading Home" is 9" x 12".

We Three Kings
As our friends in Spain are celebrating the Three Kings Festival, I am celebrating Epiphany. It is such a wonderful time of year, with so much to be thankful for. And especially the wonderful Christmas story which reaches out into the world everyday from that little town of Bethlehem. This painting entitled "We Three Kings" is 7" x 9".
