Preparing for Winter

Harvest Time

Roadside stands selling fresh fruits and vegetables are everywhere in the Annapolis Valley at this time of year.  Harvest is in full swing, and everyone is enjoying the fresh produce.  "Harvest Time" is 11" x 14".  Hope to see you at the Farmer's and Trader's Market in Annapolis Royal tomorrow.  It opens at 8 am.

I have never been chased by a bull, but I certainly learned a healthy respect for the one in the field by our house.  "Treed by the Bull" is 8" x 16".

Roadside Stand

This painting entitled "Roadside Stand" (9" x 12") depicts a glorious autumn day in the Annapolis Valley.  The produce has been harvested and is ready for sale.  This Saturday is the last outdoor Farmer's and Trader's Market for the year.  Hope to see you there.  Thanks to everyone who has made this a very special season.  Looking forward to 2013!
