One of my favorite things is to watch a pair of oxen as the trudge along, swaying from side to side. They make it look like they are in charge, but the teamster needs to remain in control. This painting entitled "Exercising the Oxen" is 11" x 14".

Heading Home
It has been a fabulous winter here this year for outdoor activities. Lots of snow and frozen ponds. With the cold temperatures, fires are using more wood. In this painting, dad is out in the woodpile, mom has clothes on the line (not uncommon around here) and the kids have been enjoying a day in the snow. "Heading Home" is 9" x 12".

Preparing for Winter
By this time the harvest has been stored away for use during the long winter. This scene entitled "Preparing for Winter" depicts a family storing vegetables in their cold cellar. Great memories. Hope to see you at the Somerset Christmas Craft Fair this weekend just outside Berwick (Saturday and Sunday, 10 - 4)
