Late Summer
August, as usual, is providing us with a bountiful harvest
here in the valley. Some are still
picking blueberries and the corn is now at the markets. Yeah!
I love this time of year. This
painting entitled “Late Summer” depicts this wonderful season. It is 11“ x 14”.

A Quiet Day at the Wharf
Bob graciously offered to take my paintings to the Farmer’s
and Trader’s Market today so I stayed home and painted. But off to the Annapolis County Exhibition
as soon as he gets home. :) “A Quite Day at the Wharf” is 6” x 12”.

Delivering Hay
The rest is over and I have been busy painting this
week. It has been such a beautiful
summer here in the valley and I look forward to many more days of sunshine. This painting entitled “Delivering Hay” is 6”

Hooking Up the Team
With the completion of my last painting I am now officially ready for the Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival in Lunenburg on Sunday, August 5 (12-4). Also, I have several paintings at the Annual Art Show and Sale at the Mason Hall in Annapolis Royal from August 3 - 12. Now is the time to relax and enjoy the summer. Drop by my booth at the Sat. (8-1) or Wed. (10 - 2) Farmer's and Trader's Market and enjoy the paintings. This painting "Hooking Up the Team" is 8" x 24".
